Filippo Croci graduated in law from the University of Milan in 2013, defending a dissertation on “The effects of the financial crisis on state aid rules and decisions relating to the banking sector.” During his undergraduate studies, he spent one semester at the Université Paris XII – Créteil as an Erasmus student. Since October 2013, he has been collaborating with the EU law chair at the Department of Italian and supranational public law of the University of Milan. He is also a Ph.D. candidate (2014-2016) in law at the University of Turin, where he is doing research on the principle of solidarity among EU member states, with particular regard to European economic governance.
