Brigitte Young is Professor Emerita of Inter­national Political Economy at the University of Münster, Germany. She previously served as Expert Advisor to the Enquete-Commission of the German Parliament on “Globalization of the World Economy.” She is currently a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the EU-financed project on “Financialisation, Economy, Society and Sustainable Development” (FESSUD) and an Expert Advisor to the EU project on “Orchestrating Information Technologies and Global Systems Science for Policy Design and Regulation” (SYMPHONY). Young has held several guest professorships at the Free University, Berlin; Science-­Po, Paris; Science-Po, Lille; Central European University; Warwick University; and Georgetown University. Her most recent publications include “Hijacking Ordoliberalism?”, as guest editor, European Review of International Relations (2015); Financial Cultures and Crisis Dynamics, co-edited with Bob Jessop and Christoph Scherrer (Routledge: 2014); and Questioning Financial Governance from a Feminist Perspective, co-edited with Isabella Bakker and Diane Elson (Routledge: 2011).
