Beatrice Magistro is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Washington, Seattle, USA. She holds a Bachelor of International Economics, Management and Finance from Bocconi University (Italy), a Master of Science in Policy Studies from the University of Edinburgh and a Master in Public Policy and Social Change from the Collegio Carlo Alberto (Italy). Her main research interests are European Integration, labor market policy and comparative political economy. Recently she has been working on political and social inequalities in crisis-hit European countries, more precisely on the dynamics of trust in institutions before and after the Eurozone crisis, and on how the Eurozone Crisis changed the Europeanization of employment policy in Italy, Spain and France.
