Alessandro Pellegata holds a Ph.D. in Political Studies from the University of Milan and he is currently a research fellow in the REScEU project, for which he supervised the implementation of a cross-national mass and elite survey. His main research interests are in the field of comparative politics, focusing especially on electoral competition and government alternation, political representation, public opinion and political corruption. His latest research has appeared, among others, in the Italian Review of Political Science, Perspective on European Politics and Society, Social Indicators Research and the International Political Science Review. Before joining REScEU Alessandro held a research fellowship at the University of Siena.
