Annamaria Viterbo

Annamaria Viterbo is associate professor of international law at the University of Turin. After obtaining a PhD in international economic law from Bocconi University, she was Jean Monnet Fellow at the Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies of the European University Institute, and visiting scholar at the legal department of the International Monetary Fund. Her research focuses on international economic law, with a particular focus on the International Monetary Fund, sovereign debt issues, and the EU’s monetary and banking union. She has recently published a monograph titled International Economic Law and Monetary Measures: Limitations to States’ Sovereignty and Dispute Settlement with Edward Elgar.
